Multi Floral Honey

  •  Dominant nectar-producing plant:  A majority of plants are used by bees in order to produce such honey.

The list of some examples of such plants can be Lavender,  Thyme, Alfalfa, Violet, Chicory, etc.)

  • Key zones for production:  Most of the vast plains in Iran
  •  Honey color:  Dark yellow to amber
  •  Crystallization time: about a year

The Multi-floral honey is harvested from various kinds of plants where this term is chosen due to the fact that bees collect this nectar from diverse flowers. In spring, it is not practically possible to determine types of honey. For one thing, it is the variety of available flowers and for another, the multiplicity of valuable plants. This would be the reason why such honey is called “Multi-floral”.
